Paul Candeggi

Paul Candeggi, Supply Chain Program Manager, celebrated his 20-year anniversary with John Crane in September 2022. He works at our site in Slough, UK, and is responsible for driving supply chain transformation projects and managing the global sourcing matrix for all finished products.

Paul received a master’s degree in automotive engineering from the University of Leeds and a Master of Business Administration from the Alliance Manchester Business School.

After graduation, Paul joined John Crane Slough as an Operations Improvement Engineer, delivering increasingly complex projects to improve UK operations. After four years of progressing in that role, he moved to the UAE as the Business Improvement Manager for the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Three years later, the region underwent an SAP implementation where Paul led the Data team and post-go-live, managing the SAP-related issues. Paul then moved to Kuwait for four years, where he served as the Sales and Service Country Manager, and then moved back to Dubai as the Operations Service Manager for MEA. In 2020, Paul moved back to the UK into his current role.

“Initially, I started working for John Crane because of the dynamic environment and inspirational people I was working with,” Paul said. “My favorite thing about John Crane is engaging with many of the talented and passionate people we have.”

In his free time, he enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, exercising, practicing hot yoga, following Formula One and cooking. He’s been told he makes amazing poached and scrambled eggs. Paul also taught himself how to produce music using sequencing software and enjoys listening to and making music.
