John Crane, a global leader in rotating equipment solutions, supplying engineered technologies and services to process industries, today announced that Mark Savage, Metal Bellows Product Group Manager, has been named Empowering Pumps & Equipment’s “Industry Person of the Year.
Empowering Pumps & Equipment—a leading publication for the pump and related equipment industries—bestows this honor to an individual who has made and is continuing to make valuable contributions to the pumping and sealing industry, and is seen as an expert in their respective field.
Mark was featured as Empowering Pumps & Equipment’s Fluid Sealing Person of the Week in June of 2018, where he discussed how he got his start in the pump industry and his favorite part about working at John Crane, and gave advice to those just starting out in the industry. All individuals featured as an Industry Person of the Week were entered into the running for Industry Person of the Year.
Mark has been with John Crane for 25 years and is also a member of the Fluid Sealing Association.
