Hassan Alhajji
Hassan Alhajji, Project Manager, works at our Saudi Arabia site and has been with John Crane for five years. Hassan is responsible for project management and execution and is a point of contact for customers and other John Crane sites. His main objective is to deliver projects on time with the required quality for John Crane products, including wet and dry gas seals and systems, couplings, filtration systems and boosters.
Hassan received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and a master’s degree in science from California National University for Advanced Studies (CNUAS). After graduating from KFUPM, Hassan worked for an engineering design office as a Piping Engineer, where he had the opportunity to apply his engineering education and begin his career. He then transitioned to a Rotating Equipment Engineer role, and in 2014, he took on a Project Manager role in the pump industry. Hassan gained a broader understanding of the business from the original equipment manufacturing and project management perspectives. In 2018, Hassan joined John Crane.
“My favorite part about my current role is problem-solving,” said Hassan. “Projects can involve many stakeholders and become complicated; this is where strong leadership and communication are needed. I like that this role is always challenging and allows me to sharpen my skills and constantly improve. Learning new things and connecting with people are also great parts of my role.”
Hassan enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. He is a strong believer in lifelong learning and recently learned more about cooking. Hassan also enjoys reading books on different subjects, including technology, history, literature and engineering.
Hassan prioritizes a healthy lifestyle and loves to run and play soccer. His goal is to run a marathon one day. Additionally, Hassan is a football fan and player. He used to be semi-professional and now plays with friends a few times a week.
