- Can be used without a seal system or in conjunction with a simple API plan to detect any excessive leakage from the primary seal
Type 8648SC Dry-running Secondary Containment Seal
- Dry-running containment seal used in tandem with Type 8648VRS and incorporated into a cartridge
- In response to primary seal leakage, or in the event of a failure, this seal provides containment and directs process flow to flare or drain
- Can be used without a seal system or in conjunction with a simple API plan to detect any excessive leakage from the primary seal
SCB API Plan 66A Secondary Containment Device
- Used as back-up to the Type 8648VRS Single Seal and incorporated into the cartridge
- Standardized dual-bushing secondary containment device
- Arrangement intended for use in conjunction with API Plan 66A
Liquid Filtration Solutions
- Filters can be applied to almost any liquid application
- Filters in duplex configuration to ensure adequate, uninterrupted filtration of the process flow when changing the filter element
- Patented elements remove particle contamination and maximize reliable operation of the machine
Seal Support Systems
- API Plan P53B: An accumulator-based seal support system that utilizes a bladder to maintain system pressure to a dual-pressurized seal
- API Plan P54/P55—Provides a positive flow and pressure of barrier fluid to a dual-pressurized seal
- API Plan 54/P55 is typically preferred where flow and heat removal capacity exceed that of API Plan 53B
