CHICAGO (December 15, 2022) ― John Crane, a global leader in rotating equipment and energy transition technologies and services, is pleased to announce Christie Twist, John Crane Manager, Gas Seals, Research & Development, was named a Pumps & Systems 2022 Top 10 Pump Professional to Watch.
Pumps & Systems, a leading editorial voice in the international pump and rotating equipment industry, recently recognized pumps professionals—all under 40 years of age—for their roles, the education and training they've completed, the associations and boards they belong to, and the way they impact their teams, companies and the industry.

Twist got into the rotating equipment industry during her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, where she earned a Ph.D. in tribology and worked part-time at the Turbomachinery Laboratory. She now manages one of John Crane's two Gas Seal New Product Development teams, focusing on innovating solutions for gas seals in the energy industry.
