John Crane to Present About Predictive Diagnostics for Pumps and Compressors at the Connected Plant Conference


CHICAGO (February 19, 2019) ― John Crane, a global leader in rotating equipment solutions, supplying engineered technologies and services to process industries, today announced plans to present at the Connected Plant Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.

John Crane Senior Product Marketing Manager Richard Walker will present on “Predictive Diagnostics for Pumps and Compressors—Learnings from IIoT Field Trials.”

As interest in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) grows in continuous process industries, the proliferation of digital tools presents an opportunity to extract greater insights across all asset classes. Applications in rotating equipment monitoring and predictive analytics can deliver high value at low risk.

In his presentation, Walker will discuss John Crane’s ongoing developments in the company’s digital portfolio around these emerging assets, including monitoring and predictive diagnostics offerings that provide previously elusive insights.

The presentation will be held as part of the Chemical Engineering track, and will take place in the Governors Ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel on Thursday, February 21 at 1 p.m. ET.
